William Lindsey, age 86, of Corsicana, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Corsicana. He was born William Leroy Lindsey on May 14, 1928, a son of Lee Lindsey and Beulah Davis Lindsey. William married Loretta Bentley on September 15, 1956 in Arlington. He retired from the United States Army serving over 20 years.

Details Of Part 1:

The family of Mr. William Lindsey has requested the presence
of the PGR to honor their loved one. We will stage and be
briefed at the Moore Funeral Home. A flag line will be set
and we will welcome friends and family of this American hero
as they come to bid him a final farewell. At the
commencement of the funeral service, we will move the flags
to the support truck, furl and stow them. We will then make
ready for the procession to the cemetery. For those who will
not be participating in the procession, you will proceed to
the cemetery to assist in establishing a flag line there.

await the arrival of SFC Lindsey, family, and friends for
his interment service. Upon completion of the service, we
will move the flags to the support truck, furl and stow the
flags, be debriefed and dismissed.

- DRESS CODE: Please Dress In A Manner Appropriate For
Attending A Funeral Service.
- Iron horses if you
can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including
the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time
if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and
always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget
your sun screen.
- Please remember that our mission
is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for
this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING
OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!
- Let's always remember to keep the motorcycle and voice
noise to a minimum when arriving and leaving the shelters.
- Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off
and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed
limit. Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the
one we are honoring.
